She attended St. James Girls School and Immaculate Conception Academy in San Francisco. Rita worked for and retired from Ames/NASA Research Center in Mountain View.
Rita is survived by her daughter Debra and son-in-law Mike Dunn and her son Keith and Mary Beth of Bishop, CA. All those who knew Rita can attest to her outspoken style, great sense of humor, love of visiting family and friends, eating at nice restaurants, independence, dancing in her younger days, love of animals and love of life. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
A Gathering of her friends and family will take place Sunday, January 27, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at her home. Arrangements under the direction of CUNNINGHAMS' AFFORDABLE BURIAL AND CREMATION CENTERS, Santa Clara, CA.
