WATERFALL, Aileen Rita (Tarrant)-- of San Jose, CA entered into rest on January 19, 2002 after a brief and unexpected illness. She was born on December 5, 1919 in San Francisco, Ca and lived in the City until moving to Santa Clara and later to San Jose to raise her children. She attended St. James Girls School and Immaculate Conception Academy in San Francisco. Rita worked for and retired from Ames/NASA Research Center in Mountain View.
Rita is survived by her daughter Debra and son-in-law Mike Dunn and her son Keith and Mary Beth of Bishop, CA. All those who knew Rita can attest to her outspoken style, great sense of humor, love of visiting family and friends, eating at nice restaurants, independence, dancing in her younger days, love of animals and love of life. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
