      Mr and Mrs J.J. Waterfall of Sheep Street, Skipton, have received official notification that their younger son, Private Sidney Waterfall, R.A.M.C., serving in the Middle East, has been posted as missing. Aged 24, he was previousley employed by Messrs. Knowles and Harrison Solicitors, Skipton. He has played half-back for Skipton Christ Church and Sutton United football clubs.
    • Pte. Sidney Waterfall, younger son of Mr and Mrs J.J. Waterfall, of Sheep Street, Skipton, is a prisioner of war in Crete. Pte. Waterfall who was serving with the R.A.M.C, was posted missing about two months ago. Aged 24, Pte. Waterfall has played half-back for the Sutton United and Skipton Christ Church football teams. His father is a well-known Skipton bookseller and stationer.

      Skipton man to be liberated from prison camps in Germany by the advancing Allied Armies is:

      Pte. Sidney Waterfall, the younger son of Mrs and the late Mr J.J. Waterfall of Lyndhurst, Embsay, captured by Germans in Crete on May 3rd 1941.
